Style Overview
Using a map and opisometer is an analogue and wonderfully tactile method of route plotting. Run the thin metal wheel along a route and read the distance on the appropriate dial. Measures inches and centimetres to miles, nautical miles and kilometres. This example dates from the 1950’s. This is a vintage item. It has been thoroughly checked and found to be in good working order but may feature wear and marks in line with its age. Occasionally vintage pieces are marked with the name of the original owner or company.
